Mark Allen & Co.

The Breaking-News Content Experts

Welcome to Mark Allen & Co, a boutique PR firm that specializes in breaking-news content.

Our mission is simple. Create and promote content aligning our client’s brands with today’s biggest stories and trends in their industries.

When a story breaks or a trend emerges, our team develops the best content approach – opinionated thought-leadership articles by top executives, memorable videos, educational webinars as well as email alerts for clients and prospects, Tweets to consumers, newsy photos on Instagram, live Facebook events, SnapChat partnerships, and more. Our team includes former journalists who have written for top national news outlets and who work one-on-one with our clients to develop the highest level of journalistic-quality content.

Our team not only creates and distributes content, we place and promote it.  We determine the best placements for your business’ thought leadership content, from top national news outlets to key industry trades. Then, when your CEO’s compelling opinion piece is published, we leverage it to secure broadcast TV interviews. Or your video is gaining traction online, we pitch its success to the appropriate outlet. Our clients enjoy regular coverage in some of the world’s biggest media outlets, as well as in sector-specific press that is most relevant to their key audiences.

Who we work with speaks volumes about our approach – from the world’s biggest brands including General Motors, Buick, Samsung, Equinox, Illy Coffee and W Hotels to a wide variety of entrepreneurial and service organizations including, Code and Theory, Y&R, Huge, GlassView, Foxwordy, and Clutch Group.

Our breaking-news content approach was developed by our founder, editorial and public relations veteran Mark Pasetsky, who previously served as the editor of two national celebrity weekly magazines, OK! and Life  & Style Weekly; as well as the VP of PR for MTV Networks’ online division.

Mark Allen & Co is headquartered in New York City.
